Getting on the WhatsApp Business API is a Meta process, not a Dealup one. We submit the application and guide you through it, but Meta decides, and the requirements below are theirs.
What you need before you start
- A Facebook Business Manager account for your business
- A phone number that is not currently active on WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business
- A legal business name that matches your documents
- A website or public page that shows what your business does
How the application runs
Connect Business Manager
You link your existing Facebook Business Manager. The ads, the page and the WhatsApp number all sit under it.
Submit the number
The number is registered against your business and receives a verification code.
Display name review
Meta checks that the name you want shown in chats matches your real business.
Business verification
Meta asks for documents proving the business exists. This is the step that takes longest.
Number goes live
Once approved, the number can send approved templates and receive replies.
